Good evening DEMOCRATS!

On behalf of the Tulsa County Democratic Party officers, I want to welcome all of you to the TCDP General Meeting.  Let me first start by thanking you all for all that you do to help the Democratic Party during these trying times.  We are honored and proud to serve as your officers and we are committed to getting Democrats elected, holding elected officials accountable, educating voters, registering voters, recruiting candidates, building our strength back up. It is time to focus like laser on the upcoming elections in 2012.  We must do our part in getting Barack Obama reelected!

We realize that we have an uphill battle; it is one that can be won with proper planning and support from Democrats. After all, the night is always darkest before the dawn.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with an overview of what we have done, what we are doing and what we plan to do.  We will go over what has been accomplished since taking office as well as our plan for the coming year.

That being said, we don’t have the luxury of fighting among ourselves.   We accomplish nothing when we sit on the sideline and simply point out what should or should not be done.  This is a team effort that pulls together and NOT one that tears down. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work together to ”MOVE OUR PARTY FORWARD”.
